I have a LiteOn DVD-RW SHM-165P6S drive in my computer. I've updated to the latest and greatest firmware. There doesn't seem to be a driver that came with it so I'm using th xp default driver. Everything seems to work on except my 24 DVD series. The disk spins and spins but never syncs. Anyone else run into this? I'm also seeing the error below in the event logs. The description for Event ID ( 1904 ) in Source ( HHCTRL ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer.
