I have a Kimber Classic Stainless. Had it twelve or thirteen years.

I want a compact now. Bad.

I have a Kimber Ultra Carry II.

You can't go wrong with Kimber. I love mine.

Not a bad choice. I'm not what you would call a huge fan of 1911s, but I don't have anything against them either. At least you got the best one out there though.

I only have 1 1911, a Sprinfield GI model, I love shooting it. I like making big holes in paper targets

I used to have that same model...looked exactly like yours.
Was very accurate....good shooter, but I wound up selling it to finance my first AR15.

I have loved 1911s since I picked up my Springfield Champion for CCW. Nothing better IMO
