Where I work, we are still issued mini mag lights…

I’m looking for a carry tactical flashlight of approximately the same size; it can be slightly larger.

Must be black and come with a black nylon carry case (to fit my duty gear).

I’m looking to spend around $100

Also, links to a good website where to buy it.

Thanks for the help

Look at surefire.com. For $100 you can afford several different models with different sizes, lamp types, etc.

I use the surefire A2 Aviator in my flight gear.  It has the LED dimmer light option (which is still very bright) or the blind-everyone-within-a-100-meter-radius option.  Only beef I have with it is that sometimes it kicks straight to the blind-everyone-within-a-100-meter-radius option option without giving my the LED option.  That's kind of irritating in the cockpit on a pitch-black night on a carrier deck, but hey, what can you do.

You know you can lock out the incandescent light?

First off go to the Industry section and look for Calvin's business "BrightFlashLights".  He'll hook you up with Surefires (or others) at a great cost.

A very good place to get info on this subject is in the LIGHTS AND LASERS section in the AR Discussion area.

For $100 you have lots of good options from incandecents to High-Output LEDs.

Yes, but then when I WANT to blind someone (or look at the belly of another airplane), I have to turn the knob - I'm lazy.
