Lately I have been noticing more sellers stating " PayPal + 3% " . What's up with that ? Why charge more for convenience ? It seems like it would be easier to process a PayPal payment than a M.O. , Credit Card or check .

yep...I just sold a scope for $625...$603 to me after PP took their cut.
I know I shouldn't use them, but sometimes it's convenient. You do feel the pinch worse on the more expensive sales, though.

It's against paypal's policy to charge someone else the 3% that you are supposed to be paying. They will close the person's account if you report them for it.
