Who's tried these things? Are they pretty much caffine pills on steroids? I couldn't decipher/cut through all the marketing BS on their site. |
that's pretty much it... the whole idea is it speeds up your body's processes (heart rate, ect) to burn energy, which, if you don't replace it with more food, will eventually lose you some weight. easier and safer way to do it is go run a few miles around the block |
I would imagine the pills leave you a tad quirky and jumpy when it's time to go to sleep for the night. Fuck it. I'm tryin' diet shakes
|
Then again, I could always use it to kill 2 birds with one stone. When I'm all hopped up on the caffine I'll have the desire to run around the block 12 times
|
be careful about doing that.... your heart is already stressed as it is, and putting more stress on it would be dangerous. run with a buddy if you plan to try shit like that, at least until you are comfortable with how the pills affect you |
I'm not gonna try the pills. I'd prefer not to take 10 years off of my life in order to lose a few extra pounds. I'm gonna do weight-lifting every other day, and use protein shakes to help rebuild faster, plus meal replacement shakes so I stop eating all this junk food shit. |
good call. i lost 20lbs in a little over a month on the "don't eat so fucking much" diet. it just takes a little will power |
What are you trying to accomplish with this? Mass? Definition? Weight loss? All the above? |
Yep. Now that I'm home in the boonies the urge to do a 5-minute Taco Bell run at 2AM is completely gone. Plus weights will get me all rough and tough once again |
Ultimate goal is a shitload of weight loss. Mass and definition are secondary goals that would be nice. Losing all the goddamn weight I've packed on is priority #1 though. |
| Man don't try any of that stuff, it is hard on your body, heart will go nuts and you will feel horrible, could have been just me but I thought I was going to die. I work out and run a bunch, the only supplements I take are Protien and Creatine and neither one all the time. Just work hard the old fashion way and you will see results. Good luck. |

I would say start a diet as though you're trying to gain mass anyway. Which means no less than one gram of protein per pound of what you should weigh, every single day no matter what. Eat smaller meals 6 to 8 times a day. Don't skimp on the carbs. Get plenty of vitamin C. And if you want to get bigger, you have to eat, diet is everything. (Weight loss will come anyway.) I eat a crapload of white rice, tuna, fruits & vegetables, oatmeal, potatoes & plantains, avocado, soymilk, and a of gallon or two of water a day. I use soy protein powder, but I'm VERY lactose intolerant... Tastes pretty good with soymilk though. I actually don't take any other supplements... Had a strange reaction to creatine monohydrate a few years ago, so not even that for me... Anything else, just ask... |

the older stuff with ephedrine was great. Ive used ephedrine for over ten years now with no ill effects. The new stuff, however is worthless. The only compounds that have any effect as far as energy and weightloss are concerned (from my experience) are Redline by VPX and Rev XP by NX care... |
Thanks. That sounds like a pretty good setup. I like this product called "Mega Whey", which is a nice drink you take an hour after lifting weights. Takes the soreness right away with all the protein. |
