Resizing pictures > General Discussion

I need to resize some pictures to post on the board. My free subscription to Corel just ran out, and I'm not about to buy that program because the only thing I ever used it for was resizing pictures. Is there another free program I can download out there? Thanks.

Goto download.com and get ACDSEE or IRFANVIEW

or microsoft has a free tool that resizes

If you have windows XP there is a powertoy for resizing pictures. I will see if I can find a link.

FOUND

Look down the right hand side... Installed, it integrates with windows and works by right clicking on the picture.

Download and learn to use WinGIMP, it is free and does about 99% of everything that a typical home-computer user would need to do to an image.

GIMP is free and just as good as photoshop. You can download free at download.com

i know you found one, but irfanview is awesome.

irfan, the guy who made/maintains it is pretty cool about responding to e-mails too.

edit: for his needs, gimp is a bit much.

ACDSEE came with my camera and it's incredibly easy to use.

Microsofts image resizer is simple and works great... If you cant use it, your dumb.
