Check this out. The latest thing at the office where my wife works is for everyone to have a betta fish in their office and they bring them out and put them together in the same tank and watch them fight. In case you don't know anything about bettas, they're a fighting fish and the males have to be kept in separate tanks or they'll tear each other up. The females will fight sometimes too. We have a betta at home and it's cool to put a mirror up next to the tank and watch him puff up and dart around like he's going to kick some ass. My wife's coworkers gave their fish names like "Killer," "Bloodlust," and the name of my wife's fish is "Stone Cold." LOL! Is this just a local thing or has anyone else ever heard of this where you live? |

Yeah, and to think we had to go to Puerto Rico and Cuba to get in on the good cock fights. And here, all along, under our noses we could have Fish Fights...the bets that could be made! Let em guess, no one in her office has started crazy gluing little razors the the Bettas fins yet, have they? |
