What does all that mean? Is that an IP address? If so, what does it actually tell you? I always wanted to ask those questions and never got around to it. |

Yes, that's his IP address. It tells me his ISP is Comcast, and he lives in or near Bristow Virginia. Mu ha ha ha. |

OK, but what good is that information? I mean, why look it up? Is that a way of telling a troll somehow? Let me ask that another way. Let's say I have 2 accounts on Arfcom (I don't). If you looked up my IP address, would it be the same for both? And if so, how would you know which names to look up as correlating out of 100,000 members? Guess I'm computer stupid, but I'm trying to learn. Everyone here is calling troll, and I just don't see how they seem so sure. I'm clueless. |

This is funny,all the "IBTL's" are pre-mature and redikurus.
So tell me this,what good is it to be able to narrow an IP addy down to approximately 150K people that live in Bristow unless you have another IP to match it up with ? You information means nothing except you can narrow it down to an ISP.Now if you could hack the ARFCOM database and run a program that cross matches every single IP addy that logged on here and actually come up with a match and a screenname,you would get props. Good try though.
