yeah, didn't someone get in trouble for making these? The only difference was they had the proper threads for an AR barrel.

It's no different as the commercial "Patch Hog" by Boretech, just cheaper and more compact.

All depends on how you use them, I guess. Rifles and cars are illegal, too, if you use them the wrong way.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but with rifles you know intent comes into play as well.

Intent to manufacture an untaxed NFA item to be specific.

That's the company I was thinking of. It's still on their product list, so I guess it was either resolved or determined to be a non issue.
