Lets just say, hypothetically speaking, that if someone grew tired of the Itunes crap, where could someone go for fast, high quality, music downloads without a lot of hassle?

I'm aware of Bearshare, but am not too keen about the spyware you MUST download with the software (free version).

So, any ideas?

Thanks for the help guys

... That's a well laid-out site with a good collection and all, but paying with your credit card through a Russian company?

... Kinda nervous about that. Did you register, log in and pay?

Case Western Reserve University has its own server that we can access using a program called BCDC++. If you can find a way to connect to a server (there are a ton), then it's great. I usually download at 300-700 kbps. You know, homework related stuff.
