I simply wanted to log in for a second and let everyone know I am still breathing, and am doing rather well. I won 100% custody of my kids, with no contest, and this coming Thursday, my 9 year old stepdaughter will be flying out here from MN to live with me. I called her mother and offered to pay for the plane ticket, and she said ok. I have my attorney looking into all legal aspects of this move. I am breaking the bank to do all of this, but it is very important to me, and for the well being of her, too. So, at this point the money doesn't matter. Anyway, I don't get a chance to get on here much anymore. I don't have a computer at this point, and I have to go to friends to log in here...but I will post updates whenever possible. And to those who deliver messages via my friends here locally, thanks for sending the friendly tidings. Rusty |
| Congratulations. I had a very long custody battle and finally won 100% custody of my three kids plus child support. I was a single Dad for five years before I married the best Gal in Texas. Those five years were tough but it brought us close together and I look back on that time with fond memories. All the best to you Sir. |

Congrats and all the best to you. Years down the road you will look at your grown up kids and realize that your sacrifices in the past made your kids into the fine adults they now are. Been where you are at in the past and don't regret anything I did for my kiddo. Stay the course. |
| To Captain Pooby....I will...but just not spam..LOL. As for the sacrifice, well that's not what it's about. I firmly believe I was put on this planet to raise these kids, and pour my soul into doing so. And the thing is I consider it a blessing and privelege to do so. I only hope I can do as well as I can to keep these kids in the right. Thanks for all the support here on the forum!! |
