| Have the balls to fight in a revolution? |
6. Bourbon is banned. <---------- thats when the gloves COME OFF |
Actually, when I was in Basic Training, the DS wanted to prove to us trainees that the M16 had very little recoil. He put the butt of the rifle to his crotch and fired 30 rounds, full auto. He was a crazy bastard though. |

ha ha.. you decide to revolt, climb the ramparts, vote from the rooftops.. they safely withdraw from your 'zone', dump 400 tons of weaponized anthrax, followed by several other nasty deseases and maybe some gas. or perhaps test out some new neutron bomb hardware they have and game over..... whatayagonnado? bring your ar to a nuke fight? |
13thwarrior says 1. Come and get my guns 2. I'm gonna shot you all in the fuckin face 3. I downloaded all my porn already 4. There will be no goverment by night fall. A coward dies 1000 deaths a soldier only 1. |
Bingo. |
No. All of those are things that the government would only do for our own good to protect us. Why would anyone want to fight against that? You guys are all nuts. |

Seriously? I would NOT fight in any “revolution” as long as the political process is intact. If guns get banned it’s because we didn’t do the political work necessary to keep them legal. Same thing for porn, beer, and the rest. Remember that “Assault Rifles” were already banned, the Democrats lost control of Congress largely on that one issue, and the law was allowed to expire. One interesting thing about our political system is that it doesn’t respond to raw numbers as well as it does passion. We are passionate about our rights to own guns and anyone that stands in our way pays the price. Democrats know that a new press for gun control will mean we will pour tens of millions of dollars into the campaigns of anyone running against them. So, some Democrats in safe districts will keep making noises to appease their base. (The way some Republicans make noises about banning porn.) And they will nibble around the edges when they see an opportunity but they aren’t likely to launch another gun control offensive anytime soon. And as long as the political process is alive and kicking we should only fight them politically, even if we loose. Now, if the political process were shut down for some reason the way Hitler shut down politics after he came to power then it would be our duty to restore Democracy. However I don’t see that happening, ever. |
Yeah, we've got it pretty good. But too good to let it get pissed away by a bunch of losers and socialists. I said yes. However, I realize none of us would know for sure until it came down to it. |

I swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution...I would think it is my duty, and therefor my obligation to fulfill that oath, as I have never been released from it. Whatever it requires, I will do. -Ben ETA I have to agree with the docs...not a fun thing at all. I have a lot going for me, but God forbid I lose my honor and virtue by not doing what is right in such a terrible and important matter. |
