For weeks, I've been having trouble with the board. I have to click twice far too often, oftentimes having to click "stop" or "reload" after the browser seems to jam loading ARFCOM pages. This has resulted in double-tap posts and some real irritation.

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm using Firefox.

Using MSIE and yes, I have had this problem for months.
Happens at least on 25% of the times I click on a thread or to submit.
Gave up trying to figure it out.
It hasnt happened for me once on any other site at all.
Hundreds of examples on ARFCOM...if anyone figures it out I would love to fix it as its annoying as hell.

Using FF here - no problems loading pages when the board is running well.

When it slows down, it hangs, but it would hang with any browser.

Mozilla 1.7.8 -- No problems.

It sounds like it might be your modem.  Have you upgraded to 56k yet?  I haven't had any trouble since I did!

I cleaned out everything, but it still seems to be happening. We'll see how bad...
