Choate has been around a LONG time.
They were the first company to make after market shotgun magazine extensions and synthetic stocks.

They make good stuff at good prices.

Their stuff is definitely not pretty, but it is functional.  If you are looking for both they are not it.

ETA: I have butt-stock w/ pistol grip on my 1187.  No problems of any kind.

Cheers

They actually produced the OEM MP5k stocks.  Some are stamped HK others just Choate.  But they are functional and work well.

I like a man who answers his own phone.  When I called CMT about a problem, Garth Choate answered.  Thats class.

I have their shotgun magazine extensions for both my Rem 11-87 and 870 that I bought 15 years ago, works like a champ.  Their acessroires are sturdy and quite functional, and I would buy them again.
