I miss the old UFC's...  When it was a true mix of fighting styles.

True, but also much worse asswhoopings.  The older fights showed with a quickness what styles work and what styles don't work.  Todays fights are also much safer for the athletes.

Hard call to make, but i'll go out on a limb and say Iceman by KO. Iceman is on top of his game and Randy is not getting any younger. I think Iceman figured him out. Plus Chuck is getting harder and harder to take down. Gonna be a war.

Yeah... I hear ya.  But you gotta admit.  Some of those first fights were jaw dropping.  and then watching 180lbs Gracie fuck bigger dudes up was awesome.  Hoice Gracie is the godfather and made UFC what it is today.

I'm still debating whether or not to order it.

It seems like they put together a weak fight card with the exception of Liddell  / Couture 3.

I guess Dana knows that's all he needs to sell a full house and a million PPV orders.

It is sad news to learn that Randy Couture will be retiring, but I suppose he really is pushing it at 42, even if he is in excellent shape. Classy guy and a great athlete. Sad indeed.

Yep.  Althought Riggs didn't look to good either.  Close decision, crappy fight.  Nick is going to have to learn some offense if he wants to do something other than loose by decision.

Such an interesting fight... Couture danced around trying to anticipate what he trained Lidel's fighting style would be. Lidel went with it and tried to read as much as he could into what Couture was looking for (the kick he tested.) As soon as Couture made a move, Lidel came in strong and drew blood (man Lidel has some crazy power...) Second round was funny... I was NOT expecting such a quick take down. Lidel caught him on that slip he made and fucking rocked his world.
