So thats what they call it. I always thought it was called dork. Anyway after hearing the term more an more I googles it in images. So the helmet hair and poor taste of the mid 70's is returning?

| It is returning. I have noticed a lot of emos looking more and more 70's-ish. To me this is nothing more than a sign of their general lack of creativity. They can't think of original ways to look like an idiot, so they all agree to make things passed cool again, and then they go go with that. The way emo people act . . . well that a whole 'nother thing. |

In one of the classes I took in college I sat next to a girl who was a total wacked out lar left liberal. On the first days introductions she proudly anounced that she was the local contact person for the Young Peoples Socialist League. Then she went on about how much she loved EMO music. Was some interesting class discussions between us. Eventually she just stopped coming. Many of my classmates told me afterwards that I pretty much owned her in our arguments. -K |
