Anyone else drink way too much? Aviator [img]www.dredgeearthfirst.com/aviator.gif[/img] |

I'm trying to cut down. The stuff had me addicted there for awhile, to the point that I feared what it was doing to my body! It's holding 100-105 here during the day and my habit(correct term) was to get a 32oz MtDew in the morning and another one around lunch time. I'm trying to kick back to water to try to purge my system. It's bad news when the very first sip or two makes you recoil in disgust from the taste but yet you force yourself to take another 2-3 sips until it works it's way into your blood stream, then the MtDew rush takes over and you can drink it as if it hardly bothers you. Ofcourse the minimart down on the corner from my place of work turns their fountain mixtures so that they are SUPER RICH! Oh man, the stuff is like liquid crack coccaine. Out of the can it is NOWHERE near as strong as the stuff out of the fountain down at the local minimart. |

Tis the favorite beverage of both my wife and myself. I have a long standing addiction to Mt. Dew which was accuired in my early days of drinking. PGA and Mt. Dew was the best concoction I'd ever had. To this day each time I take a first drink of a Dew I have taste and olfactory halucinations. What can I say.....it was good! |

You guys should drop your Mountain Dew's, there's a BRAND NEW product on the market now. It's called... [img]www.auburn.edu/~littlcb/new jew.jpg[/img] It's brand new, nothing like the original. I gaurantee you'll like it so much, you won't ever want to go back to Classic Jew. New Jew is packed full of Vitamin C, and refreshing as a spring rain. And better yet, it's popular - it's all the rage with those kids these days! So take a break from that summer sweat, and grab a New Jew. You'll thank yourself when you have a ice-cold New Jew in your hand. [blue]New Jew[/blue] [i]Can't beat the Real Thing.[/i] |

Yeah....tried it with Jack and it was okay. Still liked the pure grain better though. Yep also on the code red. Not bad.....real cherry-e but drinkable enough. Probably better with PGA or Jack though........course I quit drinking. Thanks for reminding me of the tickling of my innards. I do remember that..........you made me feel so old now! |

Started drinking the Dew earlier this year. Drink Diet Dew as I can't stand all that Sugar all at once. The Diet Dew goes down easy and the Caffeine keeps me Jumpin'. When they make Code Red in Sugar Free I'll drink it but not 'til then.... Wah-Hoo....Mt. Dew!!!![^] |

Sorry guys, but nothing is better that a MT Dew Slurpee [:D] Now if only Dr. Pepper made a Slurpee. Even got my boss addicted, I call him when I go to work and not once has he turned one down. Got to go, got a brain freeze thinking about it. Ice- nickname make sense? |
| Ahhhh [green]Mountain[/green] [red]Dew[/red]. It has always been there for me. From the first time my old neighbors gave me some of the sweet yellow drink when I was five, to all the 20 ouncers I consumed in high school. It was my best friend. Then I noticed how fat all the sugar was making me and switched to diet. The weight flew off, but here recently I here its siren song again. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm [green]Mountain[/green] [red]Dew[/red] |

Quoted: Why do they call this krap "soft drinks?" Because it makes you SOFT, FAT SOFT. Do yourself a favor and stop drinking soft drinks. You will lose 10-20 lbs. in a month. In this heat water is best, its is best all year long. Thanks MOM - "Hangfire always the voice of reason" |

I drink about a 2 liter a day...but that's just because I am a cave rat, I sit under the glow of my black lights in my basement working on my Long-Ez, writing code, shotting pool, and hot tubing. At Oshkosh this year the sun light almost killed me. But I love Mt. Dew...couldn't survive without it. [rail] |

We have fountain drinks here at the casino. I get as much as I want for free. The vendor dude stopped by a few months ago and I asked him to tweak one of our machines to make it the high power dew. Damn I love it. Bounce off the walls down in my office. Whoo Hoo! Aviator [img]www.dredgeearthfirst.com/aviator.gif[/img] |

I only have a Dew every few days. Water in the morning, About 3/4th of a Coke during lunch (12 oz Coke) and probably 1 or 2 cokes at Dinner/Night + more water. I'm still trying to cut down on the Cokes and replace with water, but I need SOME taste. [:D] Anyone here like Mr Pibb? MMMMMmmmmm Especially the ones in the real soda fountains. Then there is my Jujubees addicition and Hot Tamales addicition. |

Quoted: YaaaaHooo Mountain Dew!! It'll tickle your innards!!! (Are you old enough to remember that?) Man that brings back memories... Remember the jingle?? "I got that bare foot feeling on account of Mountain Dew...." Can't remember the rest of the words, but I remember hearing it all the time on the AM radio in the parent's cars as a kid. Strictly Diet Dew nowadays though.. |
|
Love a good glass of Mountain Dew over crushed ice. My 4 year old son calls it "green drink". A dude I know has been drinking Mt. Dew & bourbon for about the last 20 years, I often wonder if his stomach has any lining. Oh yeah he smokes Kools too! We sometimes buy Winn Dixie's store brand imitation Mt. Dew, it's called "Kountry Mist". Pretty good for a store brand, and it's only like $.69 a 2 litre. |

Mt Dew and Doritos are the white trash food of this generation, at least in my area. Unwritten rule here is if you are white trash you MUST east regular doritos, ranch if you the sophisticated white trash, and a 20 oz Mt Dew. It's a big joke around here. As far as sodas, make mine a Coke. BrenLover |

Gimme a mountain and nuthin' to dew. Gimme somethin' simple and true. Gimme a Mountain Dew. I remember that jingle in ads that showed people drinking from glass bottles.......................... I remember as a kid, before the ads for Dew were everywhere, we used to call it "mt. goat pee". We thought Mello-Yello was a better drink.... |
|
I don't dew coffee, and tea had me pissin' gravel, so on midnight shifts, it's Dew 4me. Redneck Rocket Fuel! I have been drinking Dew since I was a pre-teen, when it first came out in glass bottles a lotta years ago. Had to cut back or become a diabetic recently. Now it's bottled water. Sure miss the rush of an ice cold dew on a 90%+ humidity 90f Florida late summer night though... |

OK, OK, so New Jew wasn't quite satisfying enough for you? Well there's a *BRAND SPANKING NEW* product right now, fresh from the New Jew bottling company. It's called....you guessed it.. [img]www.auburn.edu/~littlcb/mountain jew.jpg[/img] So C'mon. Sit back with the cold, crisp citrus taste of a Mountain Jew. Let the summer feel a few degrees cooler this year, as you settle down with a frosty Mountain Jew. [green]Mountain[/green] [red]Jew[/red] |
