Man I forgot my Chapstick today and freaked. I tried to make it but could'nt. I pulled into the gas station and ran inside. I pulled the Chapstick off the counter and broke the seal before I paid. I was like somebody at a Methadone clinic, I was jonesing. The guy behind the counter said "Your not the only Chapstick addict I've seen here."

Wow...

BTW my wife bought me 10 sticks today at Sams...I'm ready for SHTF!!!

My lips become sandpaper without it after a very short time. I'm a junkie too.

I prefer Blistex.
ETA: I only use the stuff if I need it. Like a split lip

Yes, just like chewing gum, eating candy, smoking (flame on), or any number of things people do out of habit. If I have my Chapstick I use it when I don't need it like pushing up my glasses when I'm wearing contacts.
Most definitly...yes.

After I stopped using it I found out I don't actually need it; I guess the skin will heal itself given the chance.

Speed, recovering Blistex DCT addict....

I never know when I need it, but the girlfriend seems to apply it and then I get it through vector transfer.

Not that I mind.

I never use it.

Because everything about me is perfect; I've been referred to as "Zeus-esque".

I thought I was crazy about chapstick.  I always have some on me.  Glad to know I'm not alone.

I put some on after I brush my teeth/mouthwash 'cause it dries my lips out.   But that's about it.

But I wouldn't say I'm addicted to it.

I used to use chapstick constantly.  I heard a DJ on some morning show mention that regular old vaseline worked better for him so I tried it.  I only use the vaseline a few times a day.

I used to love it when the cap would come off the chapstick in my pocket and the damned thing would get covered with lint.  Yuck!

I prefer Lypsyl.

IT replaces the natural oils in your skin so you end up having to use it repeatedly to stay moisturized...  So a doctor told me.  I tried backing off it and low and behold I was fine!  It takes a few days to get back to normal.  You should only need it if you're outside a lot and getting wind/sun exposure.

I try not to use it, because it seems if I use it for a while I end up needing it. If I quit using it, my lips are dry and chapped for a few days. Then they heal themselves up and "do their job".

I do occasionally use it, but mainly in the beginning of winter when it first gets cold as my lips get pretty chapped at that point.

They put some super secret special ingredient in Chapstick to make it addictive.  You didn't hear it from me.
