I am a recivering Liberal.

I would say that takes a lot of beer balls to that mention on here.

Feel free to let me know how much of an idiot I was.  For the record, I am 24, I own 5 rifles and 1 shotgun, and my state will not finish processing my right to bear(or own) a concealable firearm for another month or three.

24 is about the right age to make the correction.....Once you hit the real world or are on the precipice of it...reality sets in...and you realize all the BS (wish I had the flag pole BS icon) that comes with the liberal agenda.  If you get much past that age...I think you are a liberal for life...by then it is too ingrained....I think you made the jump just in time...Good work.  

And I don't say that condecendingly, I made the switch at about 22.

Thanks guys.  Feels good to know you are on the right side.  And since I like to fancy myself as a non-idiot... I would have to live a sheltered life to know I wasn't seeing the light.

Sir Winstron Churchill was right in that quote.

I have a really short story.  I have a friend I grew up with; he was my best friend if you asked me a few years ago.  He got shot at a few years back (at a town carnival, and quite randomly) by a few young punks who bought a .38 off the streets.  Anybody want to guess what the reacton was?

"Lets make guns illegal!!"

I don't have to explain to anyone here why that mindset is retarded.

Yeah, I should have said 'more agents who believe in RKBA' b/c I am sure there are many good ones.  It's the beaurocrats who come up with barrel bans that piss me off.  Surely, most of the ATF tac guys are gun nuts.

I once wanted to be one as well. Of course in my defense I was told by a friend that ATF stood for 'all terrain fighters' and than they were a spec ops team tied to the CIA. I was young and gullible and it sounded cool.
