Due to increased security threats Santa Claus decided he needed a dedicated security team for the North Pole. The TEPT is responsible for all North Pole security both physical and electronic (hackers keep trying to add their names to the nice list). It is even rumored that a TEPT squad shadows Santa on Christmas Eve in case he is attacked. There are also unconfirmed reports that TEPT would get local military support to search, recover and extract Santa if his sleight is attacked. Here is the only known picture of a TEPT member.
