| Just went to take my dogs for a walk and noticed this rolled-up paper on my driveway. WTF? never in my 36 years did I ever get shit like this delivered to my home. I don't get it, is it common to get White Power type shit on your property in Virginia...Don't know if Im overreacting but I'm pissed...shit I just got dropped off by my buddy (who's black) after we had dinner tonight and I see this shit...I repeat WTF!!! |
I have three neighbors that are black. Wonderful neighbors too. I've found myself "storming" to keep my place as nice looking as they do. There's some irony for ya. |

Hurtt  And to balance, cities I checked who had White male chiefs: Seattle New York Los Angeles Dallas St. Louis Baltimore Philladelphia Funny, I think the ratio still needs adjusting. We need to fire some of those men and replace them with women! 'Cause, you know, they're like, 50% of the population, right? Shit, I'm gonna get flamed for this one!

Just what, I'm trying to remember, is the address the DUm-DUms ask losers to send them money whenever they have a fund raiser? Send a few subscriptions there way! And along the way, what is the address for any of the Air America stations? Send a few there way as well.

It is ironic that you just got done spending time with your 'black' friend because you are supposedly not racist or prejudice, but that immediately when the 'black' friend drops you off, immediately you are cast into the reality of racism and prejudice via the flyer - whether you agree to it or not. and that is why I found this situation ironic. If it was a white guy dropping you off there would be no irony. But to say my friend is 'black' is to be - in fact - prejudiced. Otherwise you would just say my friend. But obviously you had to hammer the point home to half the morons on here who whink everyone is an 88 in disquise.  And I dont find it upsetting because even though I wish we could be one happy family, I do understand that people will always hate each other for their race or religion. Which is why I stated that. Even though you choose to accept others does not mean everyone does, and you can't hide your head in the sand and pretend different. Is it clearer now? |
hahaha you must live in loudon county! that shit pops up periodically then goes away just as quick...i've always wondered why so much of it happens up there, though. that's kinda rich folk area! ETA: a lot of blacks in this area live in maryland and refuse to move to virginia cuz it's the "south;" they're convinced they're gonna wake up to a burning cross on their front lawn. i always get a kick outta telling 'em there's a shitload more klan activity in maryland than there is down here!

The job he was denied was as a police officer. With all the cop bashing on this board (not saying you do) you'd think more people would be defending hiring cops that were the best for the job, rather than fitting some color or gender description to fill a slot some liberal decried as EO. "Hey, we have a better candidate, but we can't hire him because our other quotas can't be filled. Please tell the screaming mother we may not be able to field her call due to lack of manpower, but we'll recruit minorities harder from now on." Reverse racisim at its finest. Anything that judges on any color or gender is wrong. You hire the most qualified, period, end of discussion. ETA: I was agreeing with you, but it didn't really sound that way. Sorry. |

| There is good and bad in every race. I hate everyone and let their actions prove me wrong, which they seldom do. Basicly if someone looks like trash, a punk or a thug i do judge them up front. If they turn out to be different then how they appear then awesome. Most people are what they look like. If judgeing books by their covers didnt work then we could go to blockbuster video and take all of DVDs out of their cases. Whats on the outside is used as a indicator of the contents. Not fool proof but it does work. |
