I just burn it to 2 dvdrs
don't feel like losing quality
or get a DL burner, but DL blanks are pricey

Tried all the free stuff, sooner or later the technology catches up, finally paid and found AnyDVD and CloneDVD, AnyDVD acts as the decrypter, CloneDVD acts as the burner, so far good to go...

Seems to me the compression in CloneDVD is no better than DVD shrink.  Rip out all the garbage, extras and unused audio and you are left with the movie itself.  Let DVDShrink do a good compression analysis and there is little to no difference in quality.

Did they stop supporting DVDShrink? That was the main reason I bought amd paid for AnyDVD and CloneDVD2.

Apparently the guy who wrote DVDShrink stopped supporting it because he went to work for a company making a similar product (can't recall the name).

I think I paid $16US for AnyDVD and it has free lifetime updates.
