All you need now is for Santa to have his foot resting on hit, holding a rifle.

Blood. If I was to have gut shot this doe then it would have been green. But being the good shot I am with unloading a 30 round "clip", this is a thru the heart shot.

When I saw that pic i knew I had to do one. I wish I had a big tree out front to hang it on but I don't. I think tomorrow I will hang it on my front porch.  After Christmas I have to scrounge around to see if anyone is throwing them away so that I can make one or two for the hunting camp.

To get the best effect, change the light in the nose to a red bulb.........drives people insane

I do have a complete santa outfit. For Christmas Eve I should dress up and sit out front on a rocker with the doe hanging up with me and a plastic rifle handing out candy canes. Or I can save it for holloween.

for the best effect, you need 8 more of them, with only 1 with a red nose.

Do that in suburban Massachusetts, NY or New Jersey, you'd have the ASPCA, PETA, the po-po, and child services all breaking down your door....

I just thought of a good idea. When I go back to work I will ask my boss if I can have a lighted deer in my office for the holiday spirit(got to say holiday not christmas). I know he will say yes and why in the hell I asked him anyway. Then I will hang this from the ceiling. I got to make another one.

passgas55,

Another coonass here. What part of Louisiana are you in? I was born in Mamou (I'm half Fontenot ) and now live in Lafayette parish.

Have a good one!

I live in St Charles Parish. I do pig and deer hunt close to the Lafayette airport. I love the Lafayette area. Sometimes I think about moving down that way but it I live in Gods country. Too bad tho that God wants to try and flood his country once in a while.
