Jiffy Lube? Course, they always get a little nervous when i pull up into their service garage, open my trunk and have like dozens of dirty rifles and handguns and say "clean and lube these things, and no- they don't need another coolant system flush!!" Some brothas in my area swear by "Soul Glow" also... - rem |
What ever do you mean? |

Mobil once synthetic for normal use. A light coat of this stuff, shoot to my hearts delight, and even wolf ammo crap mostly wipes off, with very, very little needing to be scrubbed off on the rear of the bolt. And even that is light scrubbing. Never going back to anything else. Colloidial Graphite for extremely dusty use. (Graphite powder suspended in an alcohol base) Its a dry, graphite lube, used sometimes as anti-sieze by the govt. Called 'Neo-Lube' these days. Dosn't attract dust and debris like oil based lubes do in desert environments. After completely degreasing a firearm, I put several coats of the graphite on all the friction/wear areas, let it dry completely, and then put the weapon back together. It will last for about 600 to 1000 rounds on an AR before starting to wear too thin and allowing the carbon gunk to gum up the works. Good shiznit. Chris |

Militec 1. I have a few bottles from when I worked at Barrett. Militec was giving it away to us. I ended up with 5 or 6 1 pint bottles. I haven't made much of a dent in the first one after 2 years. I use it on both AR's and both FAL's. A little goes a long way. |

Guys, Anal lube, rim lube, prison lube, astro lube, no, and KY, I'm asking about about GUN Lubrication not BUM lubrication. Is there anything better than CLP out there? There have been a couple suggestions, is there anything that would be good on my CETME and my AR15? Alvinhinking.gif |
