I have an Aimpoint Comp-C like the m2.  I am having a hard time sighting it in.  There is no manuals on the Aimpoint site.

The adjustments are not like a regular scope (one for elev and one for wind.)  The top one says up left and the side one says up right.

I can get it close then of the damn paper!  It is a 4MOA model.

Help and no wise asses, please.

Bump for you, but you might try posting in the optics part of the AR15 board.

Yes, you might try the optics forum, but the Aimpoint does adjust like a conventional scope. Do you have it mounted correctly? The on switch is at the 1 o’clock position looking forward.

You're kidding right?  Did you bother to look?  For example on this page alone (http://www.aimpoint.com/o.o.i.s?id=143&product_id=20) I see two links to a manual.  This model operates identically to yours.

The adjustments are IDENTICAL to a conventional scope.

I'd also suggest going to the optics forum, but you said no wise-a$4es...

Your confusion is probably because of the fact it can be mounted for right hand, or left hand operation.

Just thought about this……..maybe odontia32m is using pics from “Tears of the Sun” as a guide to mounting Aimpoints. Opps, sorry , forgot no wise ass comments!

Ok take a deep breath and relax. Check and see if everything is still tight, things tend to loosen up.

If it's set up to co-witness with your front sights, and your sights are already sighted in, just look through the sights and put the little red dot on top of the front sight.

ETA:
I actually had one where the windage and elevation knobs worked the opposite of what they were supposed to, ie right adjust moved impact left etc...
