It was an FN FNC.  Once again, this is major dupage.  This will be locked very soon.

I did a search a year back on the movie, and saw like one person say that it "might" be a FNC  out of the few topics on it.  Seeings as how I just got on this site a couple months ago or so, i just wanted to know.

In all honesty, unless I am going to start a thread on the darkness of the black that my Lab is, I would imagine that about ALL topics have been brought up at one time or another on this site.  Would be refreshing (but unlikely as hell, it seems) for someone to just answer a question honestly and normally, or move on.

Thanks

We need a AR15.com FAQ. This must be read by all members under one year of membership, and none of this just scanning to the bottom of the page.

Didn't say I didnt get a buncha hits back, just that i didnt see much on the answer, except a bit in one of the threads that mentioned it "might" be an FN.

But, yes again - I am relatively new to the site, so in the future, I will do a bit better to do like a 10 year search in the archives, read each and every thread in each and every forum, IM and e-mail each and every person on the site (member and non-member), google it and go to the library and try to check out a book on it, before I post a question...

Coulda got this abuse without buying a membership!

Be nice to the "noob", he has much to learn!

The post-robbery street battle portion of the film was about 45 minutes to an hour from "the end".

eta: TOMINATOR.....check out this website as it reviews all the guns used inthe movie: GUN REVIEW- Heat , you may be surprised in some cases

wasn't it a 4" .45 ACP?
eta: it was a Colt Officers (with different grips of course)

If you are referring to the scene where he chases DiNiro across the airport property.

although I have seen the movie 6-8 times, I still haven't figured out what the dude (who was shot by Pacino while holding the girl)  was shooting in the Bank robbery scene

Is it a Russian AK derivative?

That movie never gets old.

Yes it was, wasnt it?

good call, and thanks ikor
am I the only one who wishes the movie had a different ending?

even though Chris (Val Kilmer) gets away, I found myself hoping Diniro would as well.

Hell, we may have even been able to enjoy a sequel.

But in Hollywood, they can always do the pre-quel (as Star Wars did).

In fact, that's a great idea.......
