What do y'all think?  Should I get a 1997-2001 Jeep Cherokee or a 1992-1996 Ford Bronco? It will be my primary vehicle.

Bronco would have to be my choice.  92-96 Fords are my favorites.  I drive a 93 Ford F250HD truck with 205,000 hard miles on it.

Glad to see the priority for patriotic Americans is pissing off liberals rather than the national security issue of buying more and more oil from terrorist supporting nations.

I love Ford, BUT, the 4.0 in the jeep will last forever.

You cant really go wrong with both.

The solution lies in the development of large drills that can bore through glass.

ETA:  I would kill for an authentic Humvee.  I hear they're nearly impossible to find.

Toyota 4-Runner from those same time periods.

Of the two choices you listed though, I would get the Jeep.

You haven't told us your needs in a vehicle. Long commute? Haul alot of stuff frequently? Want AWD for snowy conditions? Etc, etc.

Actually, only a small percentage of our oil comes from the Middle East. The majority of our oil comes from South America.

You can carry half your town in it, tow a yacht and still get close to 20 mpg.

ETA...I had a 1998 Cherokee that I absolutely loved.  Both are GREAT cars.  But the Bronco has dual exhaust and I got her some BFG Mud Terrains.  I love this truck...keep in mind I am all of 5'1".
