Is the .22 cal bore snake the size I need for .223? I know that it is but just want to make sure there isnt a .223 bore snake out there.

I have one for .22/.223 and I have a heck of a time getting the weighted pull to drop through the barrel. Any trick to this?

Point barrel down, drop weight in.  Gravity does the rest.

That's what I've figured.  Similar to how when you buy a .40S&W cleaning kit you normally also end up with a .45acp cleaning kit.
