| Most people don't know who Scooter Libby is and they don't really care either. Rove and Libby didn't commit a crime to start with. These are individual charges against him for lying, who really cares. He is not guilty yet and it will be years before it is concluded. The media will get bored with it before next weekend and we won't hear about it anymore. |

Republicans do the honorable thing and take themselves out of the leadership position so that the frothing media and dimmos won't sit there and point out how the bad man is still there. Nixon resigned, Newt stepped down, Delay stepped down. Its the honorable thing to do regardless of whether the stuff being charged against them is real or not. Clinton should have resigned about 40 times when he was in office. So should have a lot of his people but the media machine supported them. Libbey will be out of his position so that someone else can do his job while the dimmos drag him through mud and then say he's dirty. This way the job gets done and the person who is part of the controversy can concentrate on taking care of their business. |
