I'm not sure if this topic is a multiple dupe, but this PDF doc is a pretty amazing piece of work, and if it hasn't made the rounds on this site, it should.

Edited for the move from the HTF

For some weird reason, they don't like me very well over there.....

No surprise really.... they don't seem to like themselves too much either.

If you are going to keep that active I suggest you post a link directly to it in the "IMPORTANT THREADS!" post.

ETA: You might also want to re-title this post.

Same here... through it on my server back then and totally forgot it was there.

Cruze5, I only mod in the HTF. Team member status when I post in GD or anywhere besides the HTF.

Stuff like this is great, I've used a lot of the numbers when arguing with anti gun co workers.

The problem I've run into though, is that so many people that are anti gun are going on their emotions, and not logic.  There final argument is "well, you just don't need one."

Because they're scared of inanimate objects they FEEL that people shouldn't have them.

The only way I've gotten past this is to take them shooting.  Usually it works, sometimes it doesn't.  If that doesn't work, I put them in the "lost cause" category.

I finally read why that is, on DU.
They believe that it is more important to have humanitarian ideals and care, than it is to know anything. It is okay that they don't know jack shit about what they are trying to ban, just that they are trying to ban it for the children.
