I'll be spending Thanksgiving with my best friend's family (whom I'm now dating... yes, she's a girl), since my family is too far away to spend it with (Mississippi to Hawaii for 3 days? No thank you). What would be good to bring with me/send as a gift or whatnot? I'm kinda ignorant in these regards. Thanks.

Edit: I should say that I'm flying to her family's home, so I either have to send by mail or bring with me on the plane.

Bring some wine or dessert or something.  People dont invite you to Thanksgiving expecting a gift.  But go with a couple cases of pop or wine or some token to show that you appreciate the invite.  Also dont bang your chick in their house, just poor form.  Respect their home.

I agree with the wine....A nice chianti would be really good with thanksgiving dinner...

Don't forget the fava beans.....

Na, you should receive PIE!!!

If they drink, wine is allways a good gift for a dinner.
