Hey guys, just had a few thoughts and wanted to get some input. What do you think of the new movie "JARHEAD". I watched the trailer of it a few minutes ago and I have mixed feelings on it. The fact that they named the movie "JARHEAD" to me is kind of discriminatory to our troops serving?!?! Maybe the general public doesnt notice but my father being a marine he just shakes his head in disgust. I think they could have done better with the name, like "sandbox" (as our troops call it) or something other than "jarhead" Then as the trailer was moving along I heard a faint song by rapper Kanye West and his last quote that burns in mind of "George Bush doesn't care about black people." Here is the Link to the video clip if you havnt seen it. That alone to have as a theme song for a war with ALL kinds of races defending his asses freedom to say that is kind of ironic. Just my thoughts and opinions, just want to know what other peeps thought? |

I believe that this has already been discussed quite a bit here. I don't know what to think; I saw a trailer where, at one point, you see two A-10's come streaking low across the sky, which makes me think that this will have some good action stuff. But then I read the posts of others here and what they thought of the book, makes me think that it is going to be a liberal piece o' crap. It sure ain't gonna be another BHD. |
