So, the baby I'm nannying took her first steps today. She only took two and it was the most exciting thing I've seen. I thought seeing her stand on her own was exciting...but her first steps... I only wish her mom was able to see it.  She will be walking by Christmas without a doubt. |
| It is amazing,my son has been walking for about a month now. I missed his first steps,he was standing at the sofa and i turned just in time to see him grab the loveseat about 3 feet away.He had taken those first steps and i was not looking.That is a very nice pic by the way. |

Her mother told me when I started the job that she wanted to know if the baby did anything for the first time when she was out of the house. She wants to know when she does things for the first time so she can see how her baby is developing. She also said that when she sees her do it around her, it will be like she's seen it for the first time...because she has. So, yes...I did tell her. |
I work with her 50 hours a week....so of course i'm getting attached to her. Yes, I know it will be hard to leave her when she starts going to day care. But at the same time, I'll still see her...so it's not like I won't be in her life at all. I'm still attached to the first kids I took care of....they are like my own siblings. |
