I agree, Walmart is pretty cool... but I'm not drinking the Walmart Kool-Aid. I just shop there because it's cheap and they have what I need. Ammo, car detailing accessories, car maintenance items, inexpensive health stuff (much cheaper than drug stores), etc... But lately their ammo has dried up and no one is there at the ammo desk. I just order bulk Wolf ammo now. |
They don't have ammo or fishing stuff either. |
The Equate lube is very comparable to the Kentucky(KY) Jelly. But I prefer to go with the better name brand. Wal marts value size Astroglide for $9.98 is awsome! Equate birth control pills + Vitamine C are very nice too. The GF is not preagnant, and her scurvy is clearing up. |
Support Americans - Shop at Walmart. Walmart spends 14 billion on products from China. Walmart spens 200 billion on products made in America. No one sells more American made products than Walmart. Oh, I need to go to Walmart to stock up on some Japanese fishing hooks at 1/2 the price of West Marine. |

I hate wal-mart. It's crowed with people who don't speak english, people who have 12 kids running loose through the store knocking shit over, bumping into people.Employee's who are rude,ill-mannered and uneducated. Not too mention it puts mom and pop stores out of business. Stores that kept small towns alive for decades. Mom and pops will always offer one thing wal-mart can never have. CUSTOMER SERVICE. i will glady spend an extra $2-3 for someone who actually knows about the product i'm inquiring about and will probably remember my name on the next visit. Oh yeah the employe a ton of people. wasn't it Wal-mart who used a sub contractor to clean their stores a few years ago.. Anyone remember how many illegal aliens were arrested? J |
Most stuff I frequently buy at Wal-Mart was made in the US. The stuff that don't buy frequently, that is not made in the US, is also not made in the US when sold in other stores. Frequenly buy: Winchester Ammo Equate Mouthwash The ocational DVD (ok, its made in china, but it is still made in china if I buy it at best buy.) Toilet Paper(not sure where they are made, but they are made the same place as if I bought it from the grocery store.) Infrequently buy: Marlin Firearms (US) Massberg Firearms(US) Remmington hunting clothes (not sure where they are made, but they are made the same place as if I bought it from Cabellas.) Gerber knives(Tiawan) Okay Okay. So I guess my shoes were made in a sweat shop in china. I'll go to JC Penny and buy a set of Nikes for 3 times the price instead........oh.....wait.........um........oops, those were probably made in a third world communist country too. |

I went to Wal Mart during my lunch hour. I bought: CD Says its made in Seattle WA Equate Skin lotion. Says Made in the USA on it Two tins of honey roasted almonds, made in California A set of thermal insulated camo hunting gloves made by some company in Ohio. So there you have it. A normal trip to Wal Mart with not one f'ing thing made in china. |

When was the last time you bought ANY non-electronic or non-appliance item at Wal-Mart that was made in China? At least 80 out of every 100 dollars I spend at Wal-Mart are for American-made goods - and almost all of the remaining money goes for products made in countries like Columbia (coffee), Guatemala (fresh fruit), Argentina (canned beef products), Honduras (t-shirts, socks and briefs), Canada (generic OTC drugs) and Mexico (auto parts). Outside of electronics, small appliances and toys, I challenge you to find ANY Wal-Mart item that is made in Communist China - and for every one you find, I'll show you a hundred other items that are made elsewhere. The myth that Wal-Mart is trojan horse for Chinese goods is just that: A myth. |
I busted a rag head family for shop lifting at a Wal-Mart a few years back. The wife and husband were stuffing all kinds of stuff under their long rags/robes. Real shitty people if you ask me.

if you want to support communist Korea and China, buy Ford/GM/Dodge. Their suppliers are now outsourcing parts to Korea and China. I bought a thermostat housing for a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria and it had chinese characters stamped on it, but it was a GENUINE Motorcraft part, but the box said "MADE IN KOREA". In all honesty, I don't see how Walmart only sells Chinese products. Almost everything is made in USA. I bought a large cooling fan for the house and it was "ENGINEERED AND MADE IN THE USA". |
And how many firearms, gun cleaners, ammo, archery, and TARGETS have you purchased at Target? You would shop at a store that doesn't support the second amendment rather than support Walmart? |
