would a used bushmaster with 16 inch  barrel a2 configuration and collap. stock   1500 rounds thru her be valued at about 800.00$  i know someone that needs to sell one  and am curious about whether or not he is realistic in price?

Probably closer to $700-$750.  ARs are getting cheaper in price.

The 2005 SEBR cost less than $800, NEW.

Sounds a little high, but, 1500 rounds is not too much for a well maintained chrome lined barrel .

I'd say less than $600.  Who in their right mind wants an A2 upper?  A3 is the way to go.

$525 is about the best it gets, unless he's lucky.  I have one like that, but A3 and Id be thrilled to get $600.  Just aint gonna happen.
