You think about all the places you took them, the things you bought to dress them up, having them waiting for every morning etc.   It doesn't matter that they got older, showing some dents and dings,  or didn't work quite like when you first got them.

Sometimes you just get to thinking about them, start missing them, and really regret ever letting them go.

A friend of mine rolled my car last week. She'd been a good machine for the last 3-4 years so it was sad to see her go.

I can see the pictures now. The one ZW posted ended up similar to my first car. It was a '67 Firebird and some drunk/druggy hit me head-on.

The only thing I miss about my first car (93 Dodge Shadow) is that I didn't get to light it on fire before I got rid of it.

Ill replace this one soon.  But she will have a special place in my heart.  She was my first, but not my last.
