I just got through an IM conversation with a friend of mine who was in a hotel very close to where the bomb went off on the beach.  She's OK, but a little shook up.  She's headed back to Medan on Sumatra tomorrow.

JI is not a nice bunch of guys.  I think I'm going to like my new job, which may involve countering them in some capacity.
