This just in, Rap star Kayne West was shot and killed by unknown gunmen today, as he walked from his posh Upper West Side apartment to his limo, a spokesman reports. Calls to the NYPD were directed to the public information officer, who stated it is Dept Policy to not comment on on-going investigations.

West was recently in the headlines for his harsh criticism of the Bush administration's handling of the Hurricane Katrina disaster.

In an unrelated developement, the latino street gang, MS-13, was removed from a Department of Justice "watch list" today. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said in a telephone interview, that recent events have caused the Justice Department to re-evaluate the threat to the public the group based in central America poses. "Why just this morning, the President awarded MS-13 a multi-million dollar consulting contract in assisting the disaster relief.
