Damn the little bastards! I am having a guy come out tomorrow and spray them for $1,000. Hell, he was the cheapest I could find. That money would have been about half of a .50BMG.

Yes, but at $1.20 a round, it would cost you a lot more to eradicate them. Not to mention the collateral damage.
