He is doing well. He is still in Shreveport, and they have an expected date of return to NOLA Monday Sept 5. He has heard that the area that his apartment is located in is under some amount of water. Not sure of the amount, but probably more than 7 ft. He is on the 3rd floor, so if the roof survived, he may be ok. He is currently working in jeans and a t-shirt, sort of a casual week, for those without clothes. But, if he lost everything, be ready to send him some more panties, he's gonna need 'em. He can read the board, but not post, so if you have any messages for him, post them here, he'll see 'em. LT, call me anytime if you need anything. Good luck with your news to follow. TXL |
They haven't shown any of them on TV yet if they are there! ![]() BigDozer66 |

Glad you are ok LT. A little advice for dealing with looters: 1) Zip tie their thumbs together behind their back 2) Cut their clothes off 3) Hang a sign around their neck that says "looter." 4) Make sure that they walk across some broken glass on their way out. - or you could just shoot them. The above method has a pretty good deterrence factor though. |
I hope I speak for the whole of the Austin Crew when I agree with what TRG said. If you need something tell us. Shit, I bet someone will DRIVE it out to you. |
I am off today and tommorw .. if he needs somethings taken to him.. let me know.... anything that will fit in a tahoe is game.. I am in dallas |
If he is heading back to NO, then I am a loooong way from him. I am about 1.5 hours away from Shreveport. If there was a Cajun a little closer it might be better than sending it to me. TRG |
| I *think* he lives in apartments about 2 miles from my house (kenner/chateau estates). If he needs something, let me know. Once I get back to town, I can provide him anything you all send/he needs... Right now I am evac'ed to houston so until I go back, I am usless though... |
Fixed it for you. Remember LT is in NOLA. wganz ¶ |
But "dam" funny. Sorry LT. Good luck!

I can see that showing up at a Red Cross relief center now.
