They're MEAN. They have sharp claws and sharp teeth and if you let them get close enough to you, they will TEAR you up. Don't underestimate them.

They eat porcupines by repeatedly and carefully biting them in the face until they bleed to death. Cunning little fuckers. I have seen only one in NH woods. They have luxurious winter coats. They love house pets.
