I have a HP 5200C Scanner running on Win 98 . Lately , ever time I try to use it , I get an error message . " Cannot access Scanner . Your Scanner is currently being accessed by another application . Blah , Blah " I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling and it worked once . Any ideas on how to figure out what is going on here ? |

all the more reason to try a DIFFERENT usb port... if it doesn't work in another port you either have a software problem or your scanner is screwed up. scanners are cheap, replacing it will be a blessing if thats the problem usb ports do go bad
