What are you guys using for DVD playback on PC? Is there a decent freeware program out there? No BS, limit feature Demo, Pop-up, spyware infested crap. I had a bootleg copy of PowerDVD here but seem to have lost it.(guess that what I get)................Udog

i install powerdvd usually.. there are a several others out, ive just always used power dvd. just download a couple trial versions and buy the one u like.

I usually use WinDVD, which often comes free with DVD-ROM drives. But right now I'm using the DVD software that came with my new video card, a BFG GeForce 7800 GTX.

ETA: I've used PowerDVD in the past, and I like it.

I may have a copy of WinDVD laying around. Will IM you if I find it. I will send it to you if I do.

I thought windows media player had it built in.....

You may want to try VLC media player- not much to look at, but it willplay damn near everything I download- no extra codecs required.

WinDVD works for me - it came with the computer.

Power DVD works great...however I havent been able to get DTS sound to play yet. Any help?
