As if running this place wasn't enough trouble.

I decided since I sold a rifle through the EE that I really should pay for a membership. So, I grab the checkbook and mail it off to him with my user name and all that stuff.

Time goes by and I am beginning to think it is time I got a membership when I recieve an email.

Goatboay is telling me he kindly shredded the "blank check"

I sent and if I want a membership to mail another one.

I think I am becoming the poster boy for Adult Attention Deficit Disorder.

The bad news for you guys is apparently when he recieves the filled in check I can still join.

Good thing it was goatboy and not some other business! No telling what it would have cost you if some scrote at the public utilities or other business had recieved that check.

That was upstanding of him, though I probably would have emailed you explaining that you sent a blank check, and that I would be happy to fill it in for the correct amount - or shred it - your choice.

He had my membership activated before my check ever cleared.

Actually, he said I didn't sign it or anything. Just stuffed a blank check into the envelope. Dayum. I didn't expect senility at 50. Hell, from a distance I can still pass for 49.
