I think the funniest thing I ever saw on TV was a BNTSG episode about light and color where a cop pulled him for running a red light. He hands his license to the officer, who says "Do you know why I pulled you over, Mr. [looks at license] Thescienceguy?"

I remember when Bill Nye was on Seattle's "Almost Live" as the nerdy geeky guy.

He did one skit where he was "Speed Walker", he could speed-walk down the fastest criminals.
