Firefox 1.0.6 released > General Discussion

Installed it a couple of hours ago. I always do a clean upgrade by uninstalling and deleting the Firefox and Mozilla folders.

So far, so good.

How do you do that without killing all your bookmarks?

is one of the problems with the old version (1.0.4) losing all your bookmarks? i woke up the other morning to find ALL my bookmarks gone and have no idea where they went.................

every few days, more often if I add a lot of books marks in one day, I do bookmarks->manage bookmarks and export them to a file
when I used Opera I had it totally lose my bookmarks so I'm now a bit anal about exporting them regularly

Thanks for posting the update to 1.0.6. MakjorGeeks.com had it available for download on Tuesday but it wasn't on Mozilla's site yet so I didn't feel comfortable grabbing it.

ty for that i was wondering how to move them with out doing it 1 by 1
