EAA Thor single shot pistol

Because I need a pistol in .45-70.

Has anyone seen one at a shop/show? Any ideas on street price?

no, M2 AP is specifically exempted from the ban, same with M855 5.56.

besides the Lone Eagle had been chambered in 30.06 for years, IIRC same with the contender

Have you fired it? My reloading guide describes the .45-70 Contender as, "Not a gun for the faint of heart."

Of course, that make me want one that much more.

I had a Contender with a custom 12" barrel in 45/70, with 300gr factory loads it smacked back in your hand right smart but it wasn't anything that a normal person couldn't handle. No worse then my 4" M-29 shooting stout 250gr. cast bullet loads. Of course, I've always been able to handle pistol recoil better then rifle recoil. It's a subjective thing I guess.
