"Say it ain't so".....Is what I was mumbling to myself this morning when I woke up in a cold sweat. Ok, so I didn't wake up in a cold sweat but I did have a really bad dream. Sometimes I can be a cheap bastard, so I decided to buy some Barnaul from Widener's since it was around $60/500 rounds tax included. So this past weekend and the weekend before I've probably shot around 400 rounds of this ammo. Not too many complaints for the price I paid. Well last night I dreamed, and it felt so real, that I opened up my AR and the upper was completely corroded. I mean it was green and rusting it almost looked like it was foaming and there seemed to be small barnacles all in it, basically it looked like Swamp Thing took a dump in there. So I immediately start scrubbing away to see if it's just on the surface or there is any real harm....and low and behold slivers of aluminum just start to flake, peel, and chip off!!!!!  I am sure you can imagine the first thing I did when I woke up!!  BTW, I have no idea why this dream hit me last night. Anybody else ever have a similar dream? |
Probably a little more ticklish then I ought to be. When I was a kid my brothers used to hold me down and tickle me until I wet my pants. I still have nightmares over those times! Patty |
