Well, in soem documentaires they wind up using nuclear weapons, I was thinking, why the hell not use Neutron bombs... my understanding is that it woudl destroy tissue, adn leave everythign else intact (as much as it was before leastways) Now I know soem will argue that any survivors will die as well, but they woudl after a nuke strike as well..... So, why not? Hell, is it possible to make a Netron handheld weapon that has an aimable stream of neutrons? Just a thought, might be easier than using a 10/22 and a .38 |
Whats the fun in that??? ![]()

Radiation only kills and mutates living cells. Zombies can only be destroyed by massive trauma to the remains of the CNS, or to the corporeal body that prevents the zombie from "movin' n' groovin'," such as lopping off a leg. Now I'm not saying that Jim Kirk couldn't melt a few zombies with a phaser, or nutin'...

Actually I know little about Neutron weapons outside of what the simpsons has shown me.... as for Nuclear weapons, I knwo th etheory of making a weapon, clean or otherwise, but they are so destructive.. the Documentary they used one in was return of the Living Dead, though in that particular Documentary the zombies coudl nto be killed with CNS hits (even with that stupidity it was still al better documentary than anything fat ass moore puts out) That si why I asked, short of my buying a few million rounds I cannot deal with all the dead in my country, let alone those coming up from the USofA (It is obvious from the carious films that they can home in on living persons) so that si why I asked, I dicovered that Hydrochloric acid is a piss poor solvent on living tissue and pretty mcuh all organic matter, surte it works eventually, but nto that fast, I am looking for other options for Zombie containment or destruction that are more widepread without being overly destructive to the building I will wish to scavenge from after I ahve removed the threat |

Me personally I would not consider using a nuke on Zombies. A nutron bomb is a diffrent matter but considering Zombies are re-animated I would think that dead carbon based life forms may not be covered in the nutron bomb warrenty. A nuke is something I would not even consider using. Imagine a nuke being able to be effective for a 3 mile radious. 1/2 mile would be the inital blast, everything vaporised... around 1 mile would experience extreme radiation, and would die within 5 seconds to a few days. Slow painful deaths... 1.5 miles would be radiated not as severely as the previous, they would die later on like within a few days or so. |
My uncle actully helped "produce" Return of the living dead from the money end, it was a banking investment in a package deal of several movies. So i got a bunch of the promo stuff for free, such as the posters and stickers and a free copy of the movie before it came out. Very cool. There are serveral "strange" things that go on in that movie if you watch closely. For example that undertaker was a "closet nazi" and if you look at some of the books in the backround they are WWII books. Also notice that most of the zombies are just guys covered in wet mud, no real make up effects, it was low low budget! They saved the makeup for the few star zombies, "send more paramedics"
