Mrs...?  what if she aint"

Miss...?  might be a lesbian or an old hag.

Ms....?  That just don't sound right.

Madam...?  Probably get slapped with that one.

Maybe I'll just leave it blank.

as long as you don't call her a madam but rather use it in its proper honorific form it should be fine.  I think it is the correct one to use any way.

I have the full name.  ANd with some research I could probably find out.  But this is radio so it is a combination of formal and informal...you know?

Always use Ms. unless she has a title like Dr., etc.

If I know her to be married, currently, for sure, Mrs.

If she's single or I don't know, Ms.

I don't use Miss.

I hope you're in a remote area of Alaska, because I think the Women's Shooters forum may have found a new official target.

Definitely "Ms."  no question.  UNLESS you know she is married, then it's most certain "Mrs."  If you know for certain that she has never been married, it is "Miss."

If she has been married but divorced, it is Ms.  and if you dont know for sure whether she has ever been married or not, it is always "Ms."

ETA...I believe all women should sign their name as Ms, Miss, or Mrs.  every single time.  Once I get married, my wife will never use her name without Mrs. in front of it.

Dear Ms. Maria Clark

Calling me an Avid listener of KFBK 1530 would be an understatement.  So when I heard of a sales position opening with Clear Channel, I jumped at the oppurunity to match my great creative skills with your company needs.

I am a life long active member of this great community with a long successful history in sales and people relations.  Your ad stresses the importance on people skills and creativity, in the last few years I have produced multiplel small political cartoon skits using digital editing software and video equipement.  Plus I have a talented work history of successfully managing large teams to achieve successful sales goals..often EXCEDING the sales goals.

You will find my resume enclosed.  I am excited to arrange an interview with you and will contact the station on Monday to schedule a time and date.

Dear Ms. Maria Clark

Are you related to Marcia? What the hell was she thinking with that idiot glove charade? It made me embarrassed to be an American. She needs a good man to smack some sense into that pretty little head of hers, even if it is filled with Cheez-Whiz.

Now be a good little clerk and please pass my resume on to the man of the company.
